calculets is a simple math game designed to help users practice arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Available on the iPhone platform, this educational and reference app is developed by Jaime C. Carriedo and is available for free.
In calculets, players start by choosing one of the three available levels. Once the game begins, they are presented with 6 numbers inside bubbles in the central square and a target number at the bottom right of the screen. The objective is to reach the target number by combining the numbers inside the bubbles using the available mathematical operations.
To combine the bubbles, players can drag two bubbles, one after the other, to the box with the corresponding mathematical symbol (+ for addition, - for subtraction, × for multiplication, and ÷ for division). The two bubbles will automatically merge into a new bubble with the number corresponding to their sum, difference, product, or quotient.
For those who make a mistake or want to undo an operation, calculets provides a helpful feature. Players can simply double-tap a pink bubble to re-divide it into the two original bubbles.
